ive known they are average a long time, just not this average. In most leagues there are 2-3 teams of good quality. The rest are crap.
Gap is widening. It affecting the quality of football, bigt time

2 bad results doesn't make them crap.
14 points of the top of the league does
It makes them inconsistent perhaps, being bottom the league would make them crap! By Premiership standards...
They are not crap but when it comes to head to head with the other top four teams they lack the quality in the right areas that the other teams have.
They are also little slow at the back. They will easily finish 4th but do not have the quality to mount a serious title challenge.
I'm a liverpool fan (well, Juventus first and foremost) so im not a spiteful united fan or something.
but face it, this liverpool team is not good enough. easily finish fourth? thats not something to be proud of when you're liverpool.
And as I said the gulf in class between the top 2-3 and the rest doesnt make it an amazing feat to finish 4th.
im an evetonian but they aint crap, champions league winners not so long ago,fa cup winners last year, still in the champions league, yes they may have a tough test but at home on form they have a good chance even after the result tonite of beating barca, ill be honest id like to see them failbut they arnt that bad of a side :whoops:
UNDERGROUND SOUND
getting to the knockout stages of the champions league is not really an achievement anymore.
I mean Levski Sofia were in the group stages for example
it is clear that we only have ONE starting 11 and that is the one he was playing for weeks which yielded the good results and good football...
he changed around the team again and we took a hammering twice. there is still no excuse for the scoreline whatsoever.
we are only in two competitions now, so there is far less football, hence he has no excuse to change that successful 11.
some of those players are a disgrace and if he sold 5 or 6 of them we could generate enough funds to buy skilful players who can deliver. dudek must go.
forget the excuses about money and deliver the right players, not these latin american fairies.
watford at the weekend? no liverpool fan must be looking forward to that.
they are not shit, but they are not a top class team like the kopites like to think.
