    Default Scratcher - beta version

"I've been working on this for a while, and since the VST version is a long way off I added Rewire support to the current standalone. It's made for drawing complex turntable scratches, with modes for editing both record and fader movement. Scratches can be saved/loaded, and also re-scaled and pasted into new scratches. What this means, is that you can draw a scratch of any shape you like, then put it into another scratch mapped across 1 beat, 2 beats, 2.785 beats, or however you want. I tried to explain it better in the manual. You can get the current beta version and manual here:

I'm fixing bugs and adding more detail to the manual every few days lately, so another update should be out pretty soon.

    Feedback is welcome!"

I think if your gonna use scratching in production you should do it yourself manually or not at all.
Sounds useful what your talking about but personally if i was to use scratchin in a track or a mix id do it myself instead of a plugin.
    Just my opinion though mate

Ok, so here are some more free Max/MSP standalones, this one is amazing but a little CPU demanding:

I Am The Mighty Jungulator produce their music and visuals with their own proprietory software. The audio is processed by the I Am The Mighty Jungulator application, the visuals by its sister program Derek and Norma olden. A hybrid of both these pieces of software has been developed in association with Futurelab, forming the core of an audio visual performance system for schools. The software has been demonstrated and exhibited at BETTS, Cybersonica, The Royal Festival hall and the Rotterdam film festival.

Heres the latest and best version of our looping/sequencing/soundmorphing performance software . . .

Echotone has some nice Max applications for Mac & PC, personally i like Gliko, a sort of realtime looper/mangler:
