I didnt see the game, but Il have a guess and say england couldnt hold on to the ball for any length of time, and that they never looked like carving spain open....?

sure england's overhyped, but under sven england was always competitive. did well if not fabulous in all the tournaments.

England are not as god as we think we are. We don't have any world class flare players and Maclaren is useless.
Alardyce should of been manager from the start. At least he would of picked the correct sides and got the best out of the players.
Mclaren is meant to be this top coach yet we have not strung 5 passes together since he took over as manager. They should sack him now before it is too late.
The formation last night was a mess - Croach did ok but we had nobody running off him - should of played Defoe with him.
Wright Phillips was terrible, Gerrard terrible, Carrick terrible, Lampard terrible, Phil Neville terrible. I can't believe how many passees we gave away and its shocking how we can not look after the ball.
There is a real lack of quality passing and crossing since Beckham was dropped.
