Default Inigo Kennedy - Identify Yourself - Token

bit early on this but it's my favourite record right now, released 5th march:

    1: MISTER CODES
    2: THE MAP
    3: THE TERRITORY

    Press release.
Delivered by Inigo Kennedy, the first Token won't pass unnoticed. The a-side 'MISTER CODES' is a bombastic roller which falls from one climax into the other. An overwhelming, hypnotic sound will hold all listeners under its spell. On the flip 'THE MAP' brings forth a more industrial sound. The drive on this track will cause damage when unleashed on a big dancefloor. Same goes for 'THE TERRITORY', an unstoppable roller with an enormous drive. Inigo Kennedy is a pioneer to this sound for more then 10 years now. He is responsible for a large back catalogue of releases on a wide variety of labels around the world. Starting with a killer of this size, the future looks bright for Token.

    DJ Feedback.
Dave Clarke: charted b1 this month @ 6
Ben Sims (Theory): yeah, definately into this one. i think the a side is a re-edit/remix of an old inigo interlude track that i used to bang 2 copies of way back when, very good! the b side is classic hood meets foundation style, bring back original minimal techno!! all in all, a solid release.
Charles Siegling (Technasia): 8/10. I like it very much and will play the a & b2 tracks.
James Ruskin (Blueprint): B2 is the track for me.........definitely be getting a lot of play.
Petar Dundov (Music Man): 9/10 Very nice release. Both sides top quality techno. Definitely stays in my case. Looking forward to hear some more Token releases.
Mark Broom (Pure Plastic, King of the Snakes): 8/10 like the b side a lot!
Pacou (Cache, Tresor): 7/10 a-side bit too hard for my style usually, some nice sounds and technically OK. b-side reminds of Space DJz and spin-off labels (such as Ground etc), second edit preferred, things fall in place well. hope the people get the message that techno is something more than minus-minimal-laptop farts.
Tomaz (Belgian National Radio show Switch): 8/10 Very good first release ! This is what I call proper techno. Inigo still knows his trade.
Paul Mac (Stimulus): 8/10 Loving the Map! more like this please :) will be playing this one for a long time. will be in next chart for sure as well.
Angel Molina (Loft Club, Moog, Barcelona): B side for me! Authentic Mills sound, full support to this great techno tracks. There´s life beyond the minimal stuff..
Cari Lekebusch (Hybrid productions): 9/10 really like the b side, gonna rock it 24-7. good work & thanx for the tasty vinyl
Ortin Cam: 10/10 Aside is amazing, nr.1 in my feb chart! I play it in every set and it makes the people go crazy!!!
Dimitri Angelis (ion, audiosculpture): i like b2
DJ Julien & Gonzague (Mirage rec Paris): sounds very good, pure techno!
Jamie Dill (Lagoa club): 9/10 i must say that it's techno that i apreciate the most. keep up the good work... it's ****ing great!!!

only just seen this link to the track.....

absolutely brilliant, found 80% of recent stuff out really average but stuff like this just gives techno the kick it needs.

    wicked stuff.
