    Default Recording Carts

So I'm undergoing the massive effort of digitizing all my vinyl, and realizing that I need to get some new needles. Figured I may as well get one specifically for recording.

The Stanton 681 EEE MKIII seems nice but its kind of pricey... wondering if maybe its worth it. Anyone have any experience with that?

What about the Shure M97xE. Seems like its a little nicer on the wallet, but no nifty brush to get rid of the dust and static.

So, any tips? What are you using to record with?

I got concorde electro's which are nice.

I'd worry more about your signal chain to the recording device. Try and keep it short as possible - running it through a pioneer 600 will make all your recordings sound flat and pretty shitty
