I was reading this article on computer music http://www.computermusic.co.uk/page/..._studio_stolen that trance dj bt has had all his studio and gear stolen has any one else had anything stolen and is it worth insuring gear.

I've got all my stuff insured with musicguard
I get to take 25% of it on the road, and its insured when I'm playing out.
Which is nice.

Yeah, I've got a musical instrument policy through Endsleigh.
It costs next to nothing.

my equipment is just in my house so i pay a little xtra home contents insurance not much though
