Default Thomas Krome & Dave The Drummer The Techno Experiment - June 2nd

    THE TECHNO EXPERIMENT

    THE ZOO NIGHTCLUB
York Street just off Grosvenor Street
    Manchester , M1 7HE

    SATURDAY JUNE 2ND 2007

The Techno Experiment continues to move forward in ways that were
previously thought unimaginable. Chains are broken and musical
preconceptions once again tossed aside, in a mish-mash of mayhem from
all corners of the techno industry. Again, we’ve managed to pull
together exclusive, never before witnessed DJ sets that will have the
rest of the club scene running for cover. If you thought you’d heard
    it all, think again.

THOMAS KROME & D.A.V.E THE DRUMMER

Thomas Krome is one of the true innovators of the Swedish electronic
movement. With artists such as Adam Beyer and Cari Lekebusch he
continues to shape the sound of the future. Tonight will see his
impeccable mix of organic sound fused with the creative genius of
D.A.V.E. The Drummer - who runs his own Hydraulix label and also
recorded for labels such as Harthouse, Primate and Chris Liebing’s CLR.

    TREVOR ROCKCLIFFE & DJ RIBBZ

There are few around with the versatility and pure feel for funk as
Trevor Rockcliffe. His releases have featured on Carl Cox’s Intec
label and he records music together with greats such as Christian
Smith and Blake Baxter. We’ve coupled him with long-term friend and
all round good-guy DJ Ribbz – a true innovator in the UK techno rave
    scene.

    MARK EG (ALTERNATIVE SET)

Mark EG is well known for the harder sound on his own label Blackout
Audio and with his production alias The Anxious. But this set will
see him break the mould, demonstrating a side to his music we’ve
never before had the chance to hear in the UK. Detroit, minimal,
electro punk, electronica – the sky will be the limit here. Expect
    the unexpected.

    ORIEL & KARL H.C.

Oriel is a rising star in the UK techno movement. Karl H.C. is a long-
standing part of the North Wales techno scene. Expect fresh pounding
    beats from them both.

MUCKY BEATS & D JACQUES & DAVE WOODS (4 DECKS)

Mucky Beats (Kick The Drum records/FAT Collective), Jacques
(Ardpressed and Biotechnik records) and Nuclear Audio resident Dave
Woods all take to the decks for a crazy four-deck three-way back-to-
    back to back set.

    ADAM RAYNER & TIPTOE
Adam Rayner (Locked) and Tiptoe (Darkside) complement the night
perfectly, with a low down and dirty selection of the best in techno
    music.

RAR! Bloody hell, I'll be driving up from London for this one. Went to Leeds to see Krome at Darkside a couple of years ago, I would've got in the car, driven home and driven all the way back again he was that good.
