Geenrally, it`s shakers being used and not hats, the patterns tend to be fairly loose (groove quantised to some kind of jazz swing).

How do i get groove/quantise templates and how do i apply them in my sequencer?

I can create my own but it takes me abseluteley ages to get a human feel.
