i accidently tried to to auto-update windows, then it sussed my windows were dodgy, and i wernt allowed to use media player,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

anyway, i recently bought a cheap mp3 player, usb 2.0 / alegedly plug n play.
and when i put it in pc, its not even recognised, as an external drive??
came witha driver disck, but for windows 98 only,

so, does anyone have any clue, as to where i could get windows media player by torrent without passwords and all that?

This sounds like an issue with Windows Genuine Advantage rather than media player itself.

You'll probably want a better copy of Windows.

Or a media player that isn't a massive drain of resources.
