Liverpool played well and kept the ball well, Macherano and Alonso controlled the midfield and liverpool put good balls in from the wide positions.

Croach showed what a good player he is and they said after he has the best goals per starts ratio in the Prem.

Don't think people should read too much into Arsenals performanace, they never really got going and they are still only 2 points behind Liverpool with a game in hand.

And Arsenal hit the woodwork twice of course, but still. Crouch may be effective, especially if you play 2 centrebacks who are 6 feet tall at best against him, but I'm still not a fan, England don't need any extra excuses to just hump the ball upfield.

3rd was very well taken at first glance knowing it was crouch i thought thats just hit the inside of his leg an bobbled threw to his left foot but he did control it very well

Its Horses for Courses for Croach and England. There are certain games when he is a good option but to be fair we don't have many options. Rooney hasn't scored a International goal for 3 years and i can't remember his last assist.

He went 2 years without scoring in the CL too, dunno why people reckon he's our best player when Gerrard scores more goals and is the complete player.

Rooney is that link from midfield to the striker. I think he is a little over rated maybe but he is still young and think he will prove any doubter wrong.

When him and Owen are on their game and fit they have linked up very well in the past.

The problem with Rooney he seems to get wound up very easily and players target this - probably another sign of still being young.
