if we play like that in the next round there's no stopping us, and it doesn't matter if it's Chelsea or Liverpool in the final, we'll desptach any team...

because we needed cover in that position, and Sir thought that Smith, with his engine and undoubted class could become a Roy Keane esque presence in the middle there, it wasn't to be however...
