sorry my mistake, i thought u meant the actual loop out of the track remanipulator, the classic tribal loop

this is the record Adam sampled and incorporated, ****ing good sample too lad nice one, might have a cheeky play with that

I wouldn't be surprised if that tribal loop was to be found there. Glad you like the sample. As i cut it out of a mix i tried to distinguish where the track actually starts.
I cut very generously so there's some material to use which hasn't been used in aforementioned track. If you come up with something - let me know, i wanna hear it!

wikid good man, it's nicely cut for sure :)

yeah the main loop from the original remanipulator is in the Tribal section of the Essential House Techno Tribal Uberschall thing. Noticed a fair few loops in there from sims tracks, but i quite like them, the original tribal as it were

I think i remember Mark Eg saying something like: back in the days not everybody had these cds at hand. i reckon that's the explanation. :)

Oh, didn't think of that, mate!

But i think it's a very good idea, tbh! I reckon we coud have a voting in the end.

Just some things would need to get sorted: webspace to upload to so the links

stay there permanently. And standards for track loudness, mp3 bitrate, + deadline etc.

What do people feel like about this idea of a contest?

RIGHT! I finished it, although as always there may be editing to be done...

Dement Moj Amando - The Inspectors Lady Boy Remix

THIS HAS NOW BEEN TAKEN DOWN

I have put the parts in HERE

    THIS IS STILL UP

The bassline MIDI is in there FYI i used a patch from NI's massive... SAW/SUB filtered witha slight FILT ENV on it. Short AMP ENV

    Have Phun innit

Feel free to download and use ina set, but please make sure you credit this correctly or at least let me know the time and place you used it... it would help me immensely.

BTW i intend to contact beyer over this sample to try and get permission. if its worth it, and i think it might be.

no need to ask beyer.. its only a sample that he used.. he has no rights over it unless used in the context of his production.

    Thanks, Chris!

I am not sure if Beyer is the man to ask permission for this sample. That mix was totally merengue or something, no Beyer in sight. It could be he found the same mix by chance :)

I don't know if royalties were ever payed for this or if it was more a bootleg thing.

I have no idea, mate, good luck with this anyhow. Now to listen to the new version you put up!
