well i hope not... hardstyle got hard enough for me already, i think there's more interesting ways to develop than faster and harder...
how about structural changes, not presenting it in a
"mix-in - sample - bassline - noise - break -noise - bassline" instant gratification way... for me thats the only way to keep the mainstream's grubby mitts off it... if you cant do a radio edit then you should be safe...
i think thats a problem with hardstyle, is that a lot of the tunes are presented in a "get to the sample quick! and then repeat it loads!" sort of way, which makes it susceptible to gaylords with beer in their hand shouting along to the samples... also tracks like that "sick on the dick" on suntec dont help matters, but then there's always been the odd god-awful track in every genre... and it tends to be those that cross over...
