    Default Nuendo and Soundcard Problem

    Ez.

I've just installed a Soundcard in my machine and it's installed fine.

However , when I've opened up Nuendo , and in turn opened up a VST , I cannot get any sound out of it.

I've opened up MP3's on my desktop , and they've played fine , but I can't seem to get sounds to play in my sequencer.

Does anyone know what could be the solution to this problem?

    Thanks alot in advance

seem's a little obvious but have you set your new soundcard as the default card in Nuendo?

One should think people who can afford Nuendo would know that. Sorry :)

But what Scotty said is right and valid for other hosts as well.

    Cheers for all the advice.

When I open up Device Setup , the only option I get is " Sigmatel Audio " which is my default Soundcard , and no options for my M-Audiophile Soundcard.

Should my new Soundcard automatically come up as an option?

Thanks again , and forgive for my dumbness haha;)
