Think he was always going there. Will be a big signing for Utd especially for the big games as he breaks up play better than most - maybe what Utd was missing vs Milan.

Yeah, think we'll be playing lots more 4-5-1 next season, with Hardgreaves and Carrick breaking things up and Scholes pushed into a more attacking role - can see it working well - not convinced its our best formation as I'd like to see Rooney given more support upfront that that but i'll trust in SAF.

best defensive midfielder is Lee Carsley made that position his own when everton made 4th place 2 seasons ago,he was massive for everton another unsung hero :whoops: :cheese:
