Default Dance Parade NYC Sets - MP3

Here's an MP3 of all the sets from the Blackkat rig. The Blackkat crew rented a flatbed truck and rigged it up with a number of bassbins and cabinets and turntables. It's just for fun really. Since it was on a truck with motion, potholes and wind putting its own influence on the needles, it's not a smooth ride. But, it's a fun listen, particularly considering this was being blasted loud as hell down 5th Ave in Manhattan.

My set list in the MP3:
Public Enemy - Lost at Birth
    Hardcoholics - Gun Fight
Androgyn Network - Punk Box Machine
    Hellfish - Hardcore Body Harvest
    Tocsin - Neverspank
    Speedfreak - The Same Mutha****a
    DOA - Brooklyn Mob

It also got a fair amount of local mainstream media coverage, along with some national attention on the smaller article syndicated stuff, which all mentioned the cabaret laws.

All in all, a pretty big success, despite the weather.

quality la, i can only imagine how good it was :)

""New York cannot take the dance away from us!" one activist yelled from the top of a flatbed truck, to a pounding rhythm. "It is good for the soul! It is good for the spirit!"

Yeah, it was great. This is my favorite pic from the thing taken from the rig I was on. It's of Jason BK and a sign on the route before hitting Washington Square where we stopped for a bit. Quite funny considering the volume and the music we had going on. :)
