    Default Soundgarden

Any fans? Stuck on Superunknown for the first time in years - great album. Some proper heavy, bleak songs on it - Mailman, Head Down, Limo Wreck etc. They pissed on the other Seattle bands from a great height.

Superunknown is a serious contender for my favourite rock record of all time.

Badmotorfinger was a cool album too - Jesus Christ Pose, Rusty Cage etc. Chris Cornell's voice was amazing - he pushed it to the limit back then. Bit croaky these days though.

was surprised he was chosen to sing the new bond theme tune though, not the usual kind of singer they go for

Yeah. Almost as surprising as when Steve Albini chose to work with Shirley Bassey on his Puppy Liquidator project.

I like Louder Than Love the best. But that's where all my fond memories of them are from. One of my favorite shows had them in it as the middle band. Faith No More was the opener with Soundgarden next and with Voivod (metal band from Montreal- famous for their cover of Astronomy Domine by Floyd) as the opener. Wicked show!

Voivod - now you're talking. Killing Technology & Dimension Hatross - class albums. RIP Piggy.

yeah Dimension Hatross is my favorite. I got into them and Treponem Pal about the same time. Good metal without being too cliche.
