    I would like to recommend this homepage to everyone interested in gaining knowledge about music theory or possibly polishing up what's already there.

    I've found the Ravenspiral Guide extremely useful:

    And for anyone looking to pick up a printed text, my only reccomendation is "Melody in Songwriting" by Jack Perricone, released thru Berklee Press.

    That ravenspiral one is a classic. I just found chordmaps.com more accessible for me. But i must have another look at it, no doubt and thanks for adding to this thread!
