Default Covert Records, Brighton - Closed Down

Just heard on the latest Split Radio show.

    :nonemoticon:

Gutted! I really liked that shop. Proper small, but the staff were sound as fu*k, and they always got tip top tracks in.

I think that's it for vinyl in Brighton isn't it?

Not sure if the sites still up and running. Will take a look. Maybe they will continue to sell online?

shouldn't laugh though.... I 'king loved that shop! The website doesn't seem to have any new releases up either. Hope they can at least continue things online. Always reliable recommendations, and really good guys too.

gutted about that - well easy to wile away the hours in there and the staff always helpful - will be sorely missed.

    Really nice guys, real shame.
Quality shop, good online store and a proper techno hub in brighton.

Seems there's only room for the behemoth that is juno. I'd love to know what their turnover is like.
Although to be fair to juno i wouldn't begrudge them it, they've always been tip top.
