Vinyl brush.
Then I digitise it as a WAV, and it stays good forever :)

Nothing, as there really is not a lot you can do...
the needle removes a lot of crap anyway.
If you really must do it, tepid tap water and a VERY small amount of washing up liqud will remove a lot of crap.
Keep it in its case and... dont WHATEVER you do..
give it to me to play, i abuse the damn things like the wanton whores they truly are,
slag.
