Default Where are the producers from the UK?

As i am running the dutch label SYS-X [maybe you have heard of it somewhere] i am really curious as to know if there are any good producers out there in the UK?

I dare any UK producer to produce some decent track which i could release on Sys-X .

Anyone up for a challenge or is it only talk and no game ;)

Thanks for the suggestions, but i have to say two thinbgs to this.

A : maybe i am lazy if i say this, but i don't have the time to listen to all contributions, since i have some business to run and find myself loads of not so good tunes [have stepped into the listening trap on the net to many times to do it again]
B : If the tunes are placed on the net for who knows how long it is not really interesting for a company to release it anymore.
Oh gosh a revelation which will shock the people who believe this is a good way of getting a serious labelcontract, but the majority of labels think alike. Its like bying a new car which already everybody has driven, if you catch my drift [hope i don't offend anybody, which is not my goal, just a tip for people trying to get a deal]
C : Anybody really serious will take the effort of sending a democd with new uheared material, you know where to send it.

Yeah I mean you don't come on here and 'dare' producers to make tracks for your label and then reply after saying that your not willing to listen to peoples work ....thats if you are even the owner of SYS.

If your devoted to music and your label you will take the time to listen to peoples work and give good honest feedback.

Well said Corbz! The HighFish crew are saying your welcome to check their stuff out and invite you to check out their site & work and your not going to unless they send you a demo? If your asking for people productions, don't you think YOU should be checking them out? :?:

I think you'll find that the tracks promoted in the trance filez are for blackoutaudio members to listen to and give honest feedback on them, not to try and promote the track so everyone knows about it

Sorry if you read my posts as being rude, That really is not my intention.
I was just being honest by saying my motivations the way i think about it.If you think this is rude, you really don't think the way i do, because i am def. not a rude person.

That being said, again i really do not have the time to listen to all the tracks found in that area, however i already explained my motivations and i was hoping you would understand my point of view instead that of the producers side.

You ask me to listen to it if i want good producers.
I challenged to send us good tunes if people want to have a record deal.
So i can ask you the same - Do you or do you not want to appear as an artist on a label?

the fact that i dare to ask people to send me some stuff is already an unusual thing for me to do, but i did this in an impulsive mood.

It was just a question ment to invoke a positive reaction, since i don't see many releases coming from the UK.
And if anybody in here who is from the UK thinks that the only thing you need to do is throw your tune on the net in a forum and then wait till a company appears at your front door i start to think i found the reason why there are so little UK labels or producers of this music.

Before you start to get mad, again this is not meant to be rude, i only try to start a serious conversation, since i usually also don't mingle in forums since people tend to not really understand ones point of view [which is prob. because you're not talking face to face, which leads to misunderstandings of ones true thoughts]
Also i am way to busy with other things [ i started the conversation so i hope to close it as well although it is prob going to take too much time i could put in other things]

I hope i made myself clear enough to get some positive reactions instead of feeling to have to defend my reasons which are as honest i can think of.

You know... We have producers from all over the world posting tracks on here from both the techno and trance camps and there's plenty of labels which have signed them up and been totally pleased of hearing some quality music on the net. I respect the point - net released tracks are not commercially viable but a forum like ours that has a bunch of serious dedicated members and music producers, does not damage sales but does exactly the opposite! Hmmmm, some very strange comments from the SYS label (and yes, it is them cause I set the account up for them), I'm interested in hearing them open up a little bit more about this.

The problem in the hard trance movement has always been that the UK is crap at producing anything other than UK influenced wishy washy trance. It the good old days of quality German hard trance I remember being one of the only UK artists ever to have a release on a German label in their style and I think the same problem is happening with hardstyle. The UK version of hardstyle is actually way to melodic for the Dutch. That said, there are some talented UK producers (Jon The Baptist for one) that has the potental to release on a label such as SYS but need to take the UK/German orientated melodies out of their tracks.

That said, it might be interesing for people who know the SYS label and have done some tracks to take them up on this challenge and post some links to things they might like. But my guess is, it's going to be a while since they find any releasable UK stuff.
