Well, what can we say but a massive thankyou to Mr Carola for a top notch display of techno. The atmosphere inside the club was unbelievable! Yet another amazing night at Pickled Beats. Hopefully now people are starting to recognise that we mean business!

Our july event will see the owner of Sweden's massive Stockholme LTD label, Par Grindvik take centre stage! Par is a young Producer/DJ who has been making a very large impact on the techno world for a very long time. Much of Par's work has been with fellow Swede, Adam Beyer on Beyer's label Drumcode. Many techno producers from all over the world have tried to make the transition from techno to a more minimal sound but have been unsuccessful, Par Grindvik on the other hand is an exception. His recent releases on Stockholme LTD back up this theory with some serious proof! Mnemonic, Light Year, Surface and future release Nand-Grind to name but a few. The monsterous Mnemonic was even hailed by 'Sir', Ritchie Hawtin as his No 1 track of 2006!

Theres a few people that come down form leeds mate but couldnt tell you who they all are. Gonna be a cracker. Well worth the trip if you can make it mate!!!!
