"What makes Acusticaudio and VVKT Technology special within the Audio Processing Marketplace?

The concept of being able to realistically sample a variety of digital and analog sound generating devices such as professional quality equalisers, compressors, flangers, phasers, choruses, guitar amplifiers, dynamic reverbs, distortion, as well as preamps in a highly accurate manner has until recently only been a fantasy. Within industry there are many companies claiming that they are able to emulate various pieces of expensive highly desirable analog equipment; but as yet many fail to deliver what they claim when it comes to the replication of “the sound” they suggest they have managed to duplicate.
VVKT technology makes the highly realistic emulation of many sorts of hardware possible in software, on normal Windows™ based PC’s, in a manner that is relatively inexpensive in comparison to the price of many so called “analog modelling” devices. One major drawcard of a software based solution such as this is that it makes it possible to emulate and replicate much of the sound of many different types of highly expensive audio equipment without necessitating the need to possess expensive, and bulky hardware.

    The Concept

Essentially, Acusticaudio as a company has – simplistically speaking, taken a sophisticated “sampling approach” using it’s very own VVKT technology to model audio processing methods, which makes it possible to “record” aspects of the sound of an audio device, and play them back. Typically, the result of this sampling process is highly realistic sounding emulations of many types of audio processing device that can be used to process any audio signal eg. Vocals, and synthesizer sounds etc.
With regards to the maturity of this process, the Acusticaudio team have already extensively sampled a number of different devices and created many great models. A small number of these models have been made freely available within the public release of Nebula2Free, which can be downloaded from the Acusticaudio website. "
