Default Frequency graphs of several headphones like akg240, beyerdyn. dt770 etc.

As there was talk about good headphones for production purposes i will throw this link into the ring

it is superb as you can compare up to 4 different cans with each other:

    That figures

My 770s, although lush sounding have a really exagerated bass response.

    nice link

one thing i dont understand. why do people look to buy headphones/speakers with a flat frequency response? would the response be better if it was matched against the fletcher munson curves?

actually, i've just looked at the f/m graph and the headphones frequency response seem to reflect the f/m shape so maybe its a good thing.

and good to see the hd25s match up well against the beyers ;) although they have poor high response

The exagerated bass response in the 770`s is supposed to compensate for the difference in bass wave energy at low volumes.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?
