check the review by MIXMAG UK of LESTER DIAMOND MUSIC 001 SAVAGE PLANET:
At first listen this four-tracker sounds like fairly standard trip-hop, complete with stylish 60s movie soundtrack samples. But Lester Diamond, aka Mexico City-based ex-techno producer Gunjack has serious production chops, and allows tiny details of sound to leap out of the mix when least expected, making this a cut above mere bar background tunes. Totally engrossing funky head music.
