I think if thousands of people start turning up at nights that are playing hardstyle, it can't be a bad thing for Jules to play these tracks on the radio (not like that's gonna happen any time soon though with the way shitty hard house and shitty trance has such a grasp over the nation).
Do you not think that these labels may be sending their tunes out to famous DJs all over the world (they are Italian after all - they may not find any stigma associated with the name Judge Jules). Would you begrudge them sending out these tunes to people like Scot Project, Lady Dana, etc??
Jules takes a lot of flak because he plays what people in this country want to hear (or what the UK media tells them they want to hear), if everyone starts wanting to hear good hard trance, hardstyle, gabba(?), etc when they go out, we can only be looking at a very bright future for our scene.
You have to remember it is our scene so if you want it to stay sounding good, make sure you only ever buy / play / dance to / listen to tracks that you like - corporate bastards can never take that away from us.
The future?....
I like the style that is around at the moment in Qlimax - they call it hardstyle but it seems to be a mixture of melodies with the hard kicks, etc (hard trance + hardstyle).
Like everything else though, this will soon get old too and people will want to move on again......
