Default Speeding or slowing final mixdown

Just wondering if theres a way of altering the speed/tempo of a final wav file. I dont want to be timestrecthing it as that alters the amount of samples per second on playback by cutting/adding samples.

The only way I can think of is to do a time stretch or pitch adjust.

    Easy problem!

Just put the whole file in Abletons Live and tretch it there without any problems.
This software is really good at this point.
That´s why we use it on our live-sets.
