Exclamation [Resource] International list of recordshops

    CHALLANGE:

It would be nice to see some support from our whole community to create an updated list of normal recordshops and online recordshops specialized in techno vinyl. Also I know there must be more shops around in a lot of territories.

Just drop a list of your favourite recordshops now. Especially for the normal shops it would be nice to see some more complete info how to contact the shop like:

    name:
    street:
    town:
    telephone/fax:
    email:

It must be a valuable reference for both music lovers, DJ's / Producers and recordlabels who want to retail their releases where ever there is techno music to sell. That way we as techno community are not anymore 100% dependent on the main distribution channels who easily can skip a lot of shops, and that way skip a lot of territories. Though the message is not to ban the distributions. We would just prove them a service to get rid of the stock more quickly.

If you would have a reliable list of (let's say) a 100 shops that buy an average of at least 5 records for each release, you would easily sell a stock of 500 vinyl records, which is great. If the list keeps getting bigger, it would be even more benificial for the techno community.

I hope we can make some work out of this. :)

Ritzi, there's a shop forum on Discogs - you may have more luck there.
