    Default Please help me, R.e. Akai Sampler

    Hi all, i really hope some kind soul can help me here.

    I need a System Disk doing for my Akai s2000. i KNOW you can get the .EXE file off the Akai website, but it will onyl work under Windows 98...which no-one seems to have.

    If anyone can help me it would be greatly apptitiated. i can supply all the needed files, and even a Floppy disk if you nee done!

    Please, if anyone can help me, PM or leave a message here, i need this to work!

    Thanks but iv already tried, and i cant for the life of me get it to load onto a floppy disk!!!

    *from another forum

    download the s2000 os v2, don't symply drag and drop it on a floppy but run the exe file from your PC, a dialog window appears telling you to introduce a floppy in your floppy drive, then press enter, wait for few seconds, and it's done. :)

    Ah.. my bad i didnt read your first post properly.

    Best bet for someone of low morals might be to get a copy of windows 98 (98se is best) from a naughty place like the demon...oid and do it that way using an old machine.

    although i think that XP really should support it, OR win2k would probably do the trick.

    How come it doesnt work under XP?

    insert high density disk into drive a
    press enter to extract

    that should be it apparently
