    Default Terry Faces Ban

John Terry is apparently facing a ban for attempting to grab the red card out of referee Mike Dean's hand on Sunday Obi Mikel was sent off, although Dean bottled doing anything about it at the time, he has noted Terry's behaviour in his match report...

Just goes to show what an absolute jessie the ref is for not downgrading the red to a yellow to begin with.

It only normal that player get frustrated with this pansies - they have never kicked a ball straight in their lives.

Its a breathe of fresh air watching rugby and seeing the respect the refs carry with the players, the reason is that the rugby refs have all played rugby to a high lever...

also, it's pathetic that the ref mentioned it in his report.... what a loser...

as much as i dislike chelsea i have to say that it's a sad life if he is getting punished for that incident.

football makes me sick most of the time.... arghhhhh.

he went in two-footed and could have caused serious injury, he deserved to go...

and Terry deserves this ban too if he gets it, trying to snatch the card out of the refs hand was out of order...

no, it was the heat of the moment - it was also half jesting to make a point...

the ref is a tosser and if he cant be properly punished and banned for not spoting divers and so forth, then i don't see why players should be banned for such petty things...

consistency about tackles is the key.... and rooney should have been sent off.

every ref whose given an opinion has said it was a red card. at the end of the day, they're the ones who spent years learning the rules of the game.

    studs up = red card.
reason being that it's dangerous and can end someone's career.

Rooney's challenge was deserving of a warning (which he got), not a second yellow.

end of the day, **** chelsea. they tried to kick Utd off the park for 90 mins and were lucky they didnt finish the game with 9 men.

it amazes me that folk are even debating such a one sided football match, tbh. the rent boys already had their entire team behind the ball before cunto got sent off anyway.

back on subject, it's good to see John Terry has lost his "untouchable" tag at last. by being england captain he's got away with murder time and time again (why wasnt he sent off vs the scousers, for example?).
it was annoying enough when shearer was allowed to do as he pleased and get away with it, but at least he'd done something to deserve his special treatment.

**** john terry, he deserves anything that's coming to him. just unfortunate that joe cole, who really does deserve a three match ban, doesn't get one cause he got a yellow at the time.

it's the lack of consistency in every game that pisses me off....

you can't even touch a player any more.... you should be able to shoulder barge and tackle from behind etc... it's supposed be a man's game. take a look at rugby. being physical is part of the game.

but football has no consistency at all.
