liverpool played crap as opposed to outplayed. it is a simple case of rafa tinkering with a winning team too often and that the fact that now liverpool have the quality players, they go out expecting to beat teams rather than in the previous years where all the players stepped up their game and gave their whole heart to it... when we are the underdog we perfom well, but for the other way, it ends up being a joke. rafa needs to pick one team and stick with it. if we can't beat them at home then we don't deserve to be in the competition.

I never watched the Liverpool game but looking at their team they started with it was more than good enough to beat Marseille. Maybe too many rotations in key areas don't help but he has rotated since he has been manager there.

Marseille were by far the better team on the night and looked class, passing and moving creating chances, Liverpool didn't get their game started and struggled until the last few minutes...
