This Thursday we have Andrew Weatherall playing the club. What can we say
about the man ? He's an absolute legend and has been a massive inspiration
to us musically through the years. One of the few DJ's/producers who has
constantly kept fffrrresh and up-to-date without ever having to cynically
re-invent himself to achieve it. He's perhaps best described in his own
words as "I'm what you might describe as the classic underachiever. I tread
that fine line between boffin-dom and the grand amateur." Weatherall is
currently kept busy with the Rotters Golf Club label and myriad remixes and
productions with Keith Tenniswood under the 'Two Lone Sworsdmen' guise.

We could keep writing and writing this spiel all day but lets just drop a
few more names to keep it simple: Sabres of Paradise, Primal Scream, One
Dove, Klart, Blood Sugar, Rude Solo, Aramchek, Sabresonic, Nine O'Clock
Drop, Emissions, My Bloody Valentine. For this appearance, Andrew is going
to play a 'HyperCity' - style set as featured on his Force Inc. mix CD.

Support on the night comes from electricity resident Simon Conway, playing
some skunked-up jacking house to set the smoky scene.
