my point is that Hargreaves has held a position in one of the strongest teams in world football a fair few years and been very successfull during that period, for you to disregard him as a player is laughable...
we'll see anyway in a couple of weeks when Hargreaves and Anderson own the midfield at Anfield :)Numeric

Hargreaves is a much better player than Mascherano, yeah both players good holding midfielders and defensively but Mascherano offers nothing with the ball and never even looks for the ball from the defence and never wants it.

anyone with any amount of football nouse knows that Hargreaves is better than Mascherano on every level...
Hargreaves is also a better holding midfield player than Gerrard or Alonso :cheese:Numeric
