thinking of splashing the cash for real support.. bored of cubase and all its bugs.. is the transition to sonar complicated?
I did try out Sonar7, and didnt find it as intuitive as SX3.
Dont get me wrong there are some great features such as Native sidechaining, and the way it snaps/stretch's audio is really quite amazing.
But i just found it a nightmare to sequence a track.
If your willing to put in the time to learn a whole new daw im sure it will reward you.

try reaper http://www.cockos.com/reaper/ its shareware , after the 30 days expire the software remains totally funcional
its from the creator of winamp (he sell the winamp rights and start reaper project)
another good daw is energyxt2 http://www.energy-xt.com/xt2.php im making a track on him now , its simple intuitive and very powerfull
