he took the ball past the keeper,he didnt even look like he was playin the ball,if it was anyone else accept ronaldo it probably would have been a pen

Definate penalty, even if there was not much contact the fact Ronaldo had to jump out the way to stop himself from being clattered as the keeper was no where near the ball means it is a penalty. Thought the ref Styles was auful. Think thet said on Sentana that that is the 13th time Ronaldo has scored two goals in a match for Utd but never scored a hatrick.

deffo a penalty....
the missus had taped the game for me so, when I got home, I checked it out and I reckon it was stonewall.
not saying Ronaldo dived but, why don't refs ever book the striker for diving AND award a penalty?
in last night's case, he obviously thought Ronnie dived but, surely it was still obviously a pen from where he was stood.
so, if the player is fouled, but makes the most of it with a theatrical dive, the correct decision must be to 1) book the striker for diving, 2) send the keeper off for the proffesional foul and 3) give the pen.
