Default Jochem Paap and Scott Pagano new DVD Umfeld TV

I'd heard ALOT about this DVD and finally I have it.

It's incredible. I checked it out in the studio in simple stereo and it's made me promise myself I'm gonna get a 5.1 Surround Sound system in January sales!!

I've always thought Speedy's music is excellent anyway, but to see visuals alongside his music that are actually quite innovative and different is very special indeed.

As a producer, it makes me think that perhaps we should all be thinking more about the visual aspect to our music, and 5.1...

Anyway, BIG thumbs up to Speedy and Scott.

yeah it is brilliant. I only have the download version. Is the DVD much different? dancefloor friendly? I found it really immersive, even though it makes difficult listening / viewing

the way the visuals actually move with the sound is genius. Really want to see it live

Me and a mate watched this with all the lights off, the surround sound system turned up to full and a few cans the other week. It was amazing. A proper assault on the senses.
That was just the downloaded version so I'll be looking to get the full one after crimbo.

The full DVD lets you skip chapters, unlike the free version, and it also has additional content. Region Free 77 and a documentary.

I downed it and flicked thru it to get a feel (not doing it justice at all, of course). I was surprised by how abstract it is. Really not dancefloor material at all. Not even "home listening IDM techno." I'd love to hear it lights off on a 5.1, but even so I was surprised by the lack of beats.

I've been playing this as background visuals for my house parties for a bit now. It always gets a great reaction!!!

    Yeah, me too.
I was expecting something either like his earlier ambient output, or the newer fierce Techno stuff. But it was great all the same.

The real textures used for some of the animation really make it stand out too.
