Good for them.
Broadband vendors are almost as bad as mobile phone and energy suppliers for obfuscating their business in the name of fleecing the customer.
Deffo about time. Aol seem to be the worst for this in my experience. Was at someones house the other day who was gettin about 256 instead of 2 meg.
yep, about time, i love it when mates brag about their 25mb bulldog connection or whatever shite they've got, without realising what speed they're actually getting
Life is "trying things to see if they work"
Finally getting around to updating my site

Anyone know any freeware tools to test out and optimize your internet connection? I've read of a few of them, but also heard they are crap. I ran one once, which seemed to do very little, but rather oddly it said my connection was set up for a LAN, whereas I have wireless broadband.
Just wondering if I could be running faster than I am now by reconfiguring summat.
Any ideas?
