    Hi Geoff mate.

Had a listen to Human Contact... like the bass...

there's plenty of fx going on throughout the tune... they sound a bit odd/out of place - sort of merger of old skool sounds too with newer style beat. But its structure is well layed out.
Follow your music with heart and you can never go wrong...

Cheers for listening Hakka

Most of my productions have a bit of an old skool feel, this is only the 2nd tune I have felt comfortable enough to put online so suppose I will keep working till I get the hang of things ;)

it has quite a quirky sound but it works imo, this would really benefit from applying some reverb to certain channels and adding a couple of layers to fatten out some of the sounds. but for a second finished track its sounding good mate.

perhaps experimenting with some delay on the first lead sound that comes in and perhaps giving the arnie sample a little reverb to blend it in a little.

structure isnt bad but perhaps adding a part in the middle were both the original lead sounds are lost and replaced with something to act as an interlude then come back in together along with some extra percussion after the break, a thick off beat hi hat and a large clap with a predelayed reverb on the clap might work, have a go at giving certain elements a little distortion too and see what you like the sound of.

Sequence is coming. It's going throughout your imagination. It takes you where you've been before. A higher state of mind. Yeah, you remember the early times. Now were trying to take you again. In the deepest seas of your consciousness.....Time never stops

    Thanks for the feedback.....

I think my problem is that I dont use effects enough, I quite like the older feel to most of the stuff that I do, but I shall learn soon and fingers crossed start getting a professional sound...... though only using the computer probably doesnt really help
