    Not used cubase in years, but how much audio are you running, and how much ram is being used? Is there an option to run the audio from disk?

    Right, what i've done now is take 1gb ram out an just run the 2gb ram and it's all fine.
    Wierd man.

    running different brands of ram at the same time can cause weird stability problems like this though

    I see what ya mean now mate.
    I just took the chance of trying it out but it didn't work as i expected.

    Oh well, i think i'll just sell the 1gb ram then buy a pack to be sure they'll work together.
