Speed alone should seperate the two!

But always depends on how the DJ's play it.

Keep it slow hard and stompin!!!!!!!!!!

I think Hardstyle could possibly sell-out like Hard House did...

IS HARDSTYLE THE NEW HARD HOUSE.

Not yet but its getting f-ing close, the oldest hardstyle is by far the best. the new stuff is well poor in my eyes.

Newer stuff is really poor in my eyes. There are too many DJs playing, its watered down, its not hard, its cheap and tacky in most cases. The original hardstyle had some edge, some grit to it. The riffs in most new stuff are sub-hard house rubbish in most cases.

IMO Alot of Hardstyle does sound or have elements of Hardhouse.
I feel that there is two types of Hardstlye. You have stuff like Hardhouse, to me the Bouncy Bassline and Hoover samples etc. Stuff like Droid 'Rave Train' another good example is on the flip of 'Citizen - Taunus'
Ive lost alot of taste in Hardstyle hence ive not been buying alot of it so i dont really know whats out. But the other side i was talking about, the side i will buy, to me is stuff like - "High Voltage - Bombs Away" and "Quake - Raw Bass" also "Rapture - Deep Impact" etc etc
That to me is the true style, and the style that should continue to expand. But there is alot of shite out there, with very poor quality production and very Hard Housey. Not enough good Hardstyle out there and that is why im sticking to ma Hard Trance.

    http://www.blackoutaudio.co.uk/phpBB...pic.php?t=2291

I think its a good subject this.

Personally i think it migh be.. Its a shame because there is some really good hardstyle out there.
But i will continue to buy what i like.

Buy your own style,if its hardstyle you like and fits in to your set then why not get it?if its hard german trance or an uplifter,if it fits in to your style then use it.Hard house in my opinion you cant really have a certain style coz it never experiments, never pushes the boundries like hard trance, trance and hardstyle, its afraid of changing the style a little bit.
But some times producers try somthing different and it may not work,I dont buy hardstyle really ive always been into hard trance alot more, but soon somthing new will be pulled out of the hat...trust me ;)

As long as there is still quality tunes been released then ignore ths shite. Any scene that is as big as this that sells so many units of records is bound to have people jumping on the band wagon and producing shite tunes. Just don't play the shite.

Are you lot refering to hardstyle only from a DJ perspective?

How many hardstyle nights are there down south? Is there a hardstyle night once a week?

Here in Leeds and the most of the north there aren't that many hardstyle nights.

I don't know of many purist hardstyle nights within the UK. Does anyone else?

I hear a whole new set full of hardstyle on a at least monthly basis. So over the space of a month there are at least a whole set's worth of quality hardstyle to be played. I'm sure there's much more but for the purposes of my night and the clubbers in Leeds one or two sets is enough for them.

In answer to the question of is hardstyle the new hard house? I hope it is in the respect of popularity that is.

I WAS JUST THINKING THIS THE OTHER DAY, A LOT OF THE ELEMENTS IN THE TRACKS ARE SIMILAR, I.E. VOCAL SAMPLES LIKE "COME ON PARTY PEOPLE" THAT SOUND REALLY GAY! I AGREE THAT THE OLDER HARDSTYLE, WHEN IT WAS STILL CALLED HARD TRANCE, IS THE BETTER STUFF BECAUSE IT WASN'T YET DEFINED AS BEING SOMETHING DIFFERENT, JUST THE OTHER END OF THE HARD TRANCE SPECTRUM...

Any music type could do the same as it starts its journey from dark underground back street clubs right through to being the most popular dance music style in the country.

At some point through this journey a line will have to be acrossed.

It all comes down to marketing and popularity.
