    Default Amy Winehouse

What do you all think of her?

I've never really taken notice of her until recently, now I think she's class.
She's got a belting voice, if you heard her sing without seeing her, you'd think it was one of the black soul/motown singers singing.

Think at the minute her off-stage antics are in danger of overshadowing her skills though.
She fuked off one of her shows at the last minute recently, Elton John was in the audience as well, bet that pleased him.

I recently heard an interview with him about those tracks and he was trying to downplay his involvement with her. He was saying stuff like "we just played what we were told to. It was almost like being a session musician." The Dap Kings and Sharon Jones blow Winehouse out of the water any way you put it.

Amy Winehouse is the best singer the UK has ever produced and probably the best singer alive in the world.

Saw her ages back when she was touring with jamie cullum and gywneth herbert who's a good friend of mine.

We went out on the piss afterwards. Jamie Cullum is a cocky little shite and needs a slap, Amy was a lary pisshead. This was about four years back before she was famous.

She looked belting on stage, had real presence bass guitar strapped over here, moody look in her eyes and a voice that filled the room with that powerful husky quality she has.

Incredibly talented and very unique. Shame though, I think she may well self destruct, and the tabloids are licking their lips at every miserable episode.

There were articles a few years back complaining that british music was too tame - our rocks stars were vegan teetotallers or wussy boys. I think the press are revelling in the dohertys and winehouses in the music biz these days. We need rockstars to indulge in a fantasy lifestyle or we don't take them seriously.

Bit weird that if you ask me.

Great voice and great talent, hopefully she'll get her head sorted out....
