Default Making a mono track stereo in cubase

I posted on here a while back and someone told me it should be quite easy to make a mono track stereo in a audio editor like cubase.

Could someone tell me how to do this, and would it work if the original sample was in mono only?

    Thanks

I think it will work, but both channels, Left and Right will have same information, which is different than with real stereo file where each channel can have different information.

When you create Stereo Audio track and then put mono audio file in it, it should work, i think.
