    Balls.

I am new to the techno buying game by a longshot; but, there is so much shite to wade through on all them Myspacedonalds. I would much rather a producer had the confidence to just release a tune straight out onto vinyl rather that pussyfoot about with "oh will it be a hit?". I don't know what my major problem is though, as new artists using things like MySpace are using something that puts them in touch with all sorts of people but i just don't like using it for that.

    Have confidence in yourself people!
    Its all about the ointment......

    Confidence is one thing.

spending 2g on a release PLUS in an environment you're not sure about is something else all together.

Vinyl HELD back musical development in new artists IMO. And distros were un-interested in that development as well.
