there's no "best program" to create a pounding bass.

for bass?? hmmmm.. it's all about sub bass in techno i reckon... and that is understanding the relationship between bass and kick..

Might be worth creating a sticky thread just for a list of links to threads on various common topics; make it admin only. Would save a lot of people asking the same thing again and again ;)
