I'm with Candi.
to be honest i prefer this one

this was released a few years back as far as i remember? lovely dramtic strings added and a slightly differant chord progression
I was gonna post that un as well!
Its a great remix sure, very dramatic! But too slow to mix for me.
the original is one of my fave all time tracks.
original is the best!
GREYGROUND
Im with Candi, great motoring tune.
actually it was all truelove-all the versions
he managed to buy the vocals
when he released the original house version all that time ago
he hung onto the rights and did the breakbeat version about 10 years ago
then he re-remixed it about 2 years ago or so.
but the most radio played one is the 10 year old breakbeat mix
the source versus candi statton.
i think it got in the top ten for a bit.
but i agree the best one is the old classic house mix that is basically a bootleg of a french acid house track ( as far as i know ) and the candi statton vox.
with the arpegiated synth line that also got copied by adamski for killer by seal.
there you go , i think thats correct
love your mum

Your Love was originally recorded by Jamie Principle and released in 1986 on Persona Records then frankie knuckles released it in 87 slightly different from his on trax, full credit has to go to jamie principle

ha ha yer theres loads of confusion about the original it was jamie principle the only contribution Frankie Knuckles made to the tune was playing a tape of it to a wider audience until 87 when he re done it Jamie Principle was never creditedits worth loads the original copy on persona records it is the classic house tune of house tunes

It was the Knuckles version that was used on the Candi Statton record though, right?
I've never heard the Jamie Principle version.
Maximum geekery... I love it!
