Default Is it just me or do you never get bored of...

when a raking hardstyle bassline kicks in?! I've been listening to it for close to 2 years, but I still absolutely love it when a hardstyle bassline kicks in! It seems strange considering there are only a handful of varieties of bassline, but they just hit me every time! Technoboy's especially, like the Hardstyle Masterz one in the other thread, or the Deepack set from Qlimax, the formula is simple - build, vocal, BASS... but it slays me every time! Especially on club sound systems the bass just fills the air, you cant escape it.

Basically, what i'm trying to say is, despite how much i say its going down hill: I ****ING LOVE HARDSTYLE!

Yeah. A Uberdruck Bassline gets me mostly. Like the one in c4 "Bla Bla Bla"

But with Basslines from the likes of Lorenzo De preti, Krash "I am The Master," High Voltage "Bombs Away" and the "Smashing Guys" you cant really miss them can you?

I forgot A*S*Y*S use really hard Basslines. Acid Headcracker (303 inferno mix) is a very Phat bassline. (good use of the old TB303 ;))

DJ Marc La Cruz "Future Prison" aswell!

Theres loads of tunes. but as for basslines not much difference or variety in them but still doing the damage!

Although in hard trance its a bit more varied, but alot of hardstyle is the typical Hennes and Cold bassline, which is gettin weak!

That's what im getting at tho mate, i can't explain it, there's no rationale - i know its old and ive heard it a million times before - but i never get tired of that hardstyle ('H&C Square-bass') basslines! When they slip in underneath a good melody or riff (e.g. Gizmo & Norman - Power 2 Da People, Hose - My Little Stalker, Chiren - Equalize It), they never fail to make me grin from ear to ear and wanna dance!
