    BIOGRAPHY:
During the last decade Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the global techno-scene. In 2002 he started the well respected label Audio Assault with labelpartner Jeroen Liebregts, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms in 2003. In 2006 he kickstarted Syndikaat, a recordlabel and a bookingsagency, representing many of todays (inter)national topjocks. Over the years Bas has been releasing on labels such as Planet Rhythm, Fine Audio Recordings, Submissions, Patterns, Temper and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Arms. With releases coming up on FK Recs, Aftertaste, Audio Assault, Arms and Planet Rhythm, Bas shows no sign of slowing down. Besides that he's a member of the Rotterdam underground collective Strictly Techno, responsible for many legendary parties for more than a decade and hosts a monthly evening at Bootleg, providing a stage for locals and upcoming talent since 2001. Bas has been working the decks at many established Dutch venues/parties such as Awakenings, De Effenaar, Planet Rose, Waterfront, Het Paard van Troje, Nighttown and Simplon, but also played at many clubs and festivals throughout Europe and the US, playing in countries such as Spain, United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Malta, Scotland, Hungary, United States, Croatia, and Germany.

Syndikaat Records headman Bas Mooy tees up for Poundingtechno.com’s latest edition in The Fingerprints Series, volume 29 which has been released on February 15th.

Bas has racked up no fewer than thirty-eight massive tracks in this journey through some of the old classics, some new off-beat and non mistaken head bangers in less than 75 minutes.

When you're on a roll, keep it rolling, right? This mix is a rollercoaster through deep and hectic soundscapes. Two years after the first Fingerprint release Bas Mooy treats us with a hell of a celebration. Let’s see if you can stand still to this!
