It might do,try defragmenting,after you've done the following. And bearing in mind I'm hallf pissed,this might not make too much sense :lol:if you have norton installed (that'll be yuor antivirus probably if you've not changed it) then kill it. Kill it in the face. Delete it now. It's ****ing shit.

After you've done that go here

and click on the free download. This is Ad-Aware a free,reliable adware removal program. It will remove and block adware bugs that attack your pc,and try to use tracking cookies on you.Once this is installed,run it once a week and follow the easy to use instructions. Update it when it tells you to. (usually once a week also)

Then download this.

Spybot Search and Destroy. This will block spyware. Again,run it once a week and update it and immunize once a week (before you run it)

Then download either this

AVG a firewall. To help protect against everything else. It updates itself,and you can tell it to do a scan every week.

Or this

Avast (free cool pirate name)
This is basicly the same as avg,a firewall. You don't need both,just one.

These are all free,and all you need to protect your home pc. Once you've installed them,run them one at a time,and delete all you find. if you've still got problems after that,then you need more help.
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/forums.php go here and register on one of the suggested forums,then,from the same site,click on downloads at the side and select "hijackthis" run it,and save the log. Post the log up on the forum you chose to join,ask them politley to have a look at the hijack this log. Note,this will show them EVERY SINGLE program on your pc. They will tell you what to do. But it might take a couple of days to get a reply. Don;t get impatient,they will help you.
