Yup, truly awesome release, looks a strong contender for my seasonal no 1 spot.
Cant think why people arent releasing more stuff like this, when it gets snapped up so quick....... label directors should be shot on sight!

this tune is ok. But without sounding toooooo negative....

This doesnt really bring anything at all new to the hard trance scene?

Im not really sure if anyone will agree,

This more or less has the same leads, percussion and bassline/bottom end as Uberdruck gear 2/3 or even 4 years ago.

As much as I have massive respect for Uberdruck in years gone by, I cant help but think this is stuck in almost a timewarp and a tad lazy in terms of production and ideas.

Not alot of stuff in hard trance at the mo is any good so bringing back the sounds of 2 3 4 5 6 7 yrs agos when the trance was awesome sounds good to me so i cant really agree with you there but i personally prefer the older stuff cause the new stuff is pretty poor but thats just personal preference!

I can see were you are coming from Paul...but on the other hand i still really like this sound Uberdruck are using. And we can't say they have always stuck to their traditional hard trance sound like this one for example... because they had a dabble with the hard bass sound (DJ Slideout style) what some would prob call hardstyle...but i would class it as that hard bass hard trance sound what was going on a couple of years ago. That seems to have gone a little quiet now. But when they did go down that route i really went off Uberdruck and was praying for them to go back to their roots and produce the unique hard trance sound that they have aquired over the years..but you can't fault them for trying new stuff and styles into their production. So suppose what i am trying to say is maybe its not a case of lazyness but sticking to what they do best??

Polentor on the other hand is a class release and really does bring something new to the Hard Trance Scene because to me it sounds like something that would have been released in 2000 with its old skool melody and vibe. This is quality because it is a break from all the usual stuff we have come to expect and stands out from the rest!! More please of this i say....

Yeah, lazy maybe wasnt the best word to use or even the word I was looking to describe it.

It just sounds a little tired to me, I have a fair stack of Uberdruck in the vinyl boxes and this release wouldnt make me want to buy it to play instead of an older one if you get me.

i dunno what the hell's wrong with you all - this is a wicked release!!!! hehe

no i see what you mean but AT LAST a hard trancey record that can be played after a peak time hardstyle track and still get a brilliant reaction. not much hard trance does that anymore, you usually have to start with hard trance these days if you play it in your set, and it's stuff like this that surely will get the new ppl into the old school way of thinking...

good shit. well worth getting for the box.. :)

respect to gibbo, dene and matt for this, and also not forgetting uberdruck ;)

this tune seems to have a wide appeal which im sure they will be very happy about, its well deserved though to be fair considering the amount of hard work gone into producing there tracks,to be honest i think theres even better that has not yet seen the light of release, check these albums - http://www.bdi-underground.com/music.html
