Ah right! Just read page 2 of the thread on the Q-Dance forum!

So basically NRG = Hard Trance??

Q-Dance is seen as the 'authority' in harder edged dance muzik in Holland and 'Nrg' is their name for Hard Trance. Just as 'Hardstyle' was the name they made up for the sound we now all call Hardstyle. A bit mad that dont you reckon?

Think about it, in a few months do you think we will now see tunes coming out of Holland with an 'NRG mix' just like we saw 'Hardstyle mix' a year and a half ago? and then people proclaiming 'I play NRG' when infact they are playing Hard Trance and then the same old disscussion/argument of what a certain sound of muzik is actually called will surface and we will end up with another new term! heh!
